BOOST - Year 6 11+ Interview Preparation Workshop - October Half Term
School interviews can feel daunting, but the right preparation makes all the difference. Our BOOST – Interview Preparation Workshop is a focused 1.5-hour session that gives children the readiness, polish, and strategies they need to excel in their school interviews. Through interactive practice and tailored feedback, pupils gain the confidence to present themselves clearly, think on their feet, and make a strong impression.
Interviews are an important part of the 11+ process for many independent and grammar schools. This workshop helps children prepare effectively by covering:

Understanding interview expectations – what schools are looking for

Common interview topics – hobbies, achievements, books, current affairs, and personal interests

Communication skills – forming and sharing opinions, structuring answers, speaking with clarity

Practical tasks – handling mental maths, describing images or passages, tackling puzzles and problem-solving questions
