Designed for Year 5 children preparing for the 11+ entrance exams in autumn 2026, this hall-based mock test recreates the experience of the real Sutton Selective Eligibility Test exams in a supportive environment.

The Sutton Selective Eligibility Test (SET) is the first stage exam for all five Sutton grammar schools and Greenshaw High School. It consists of two multiple-choice papers — one in English and one in maths — based on the Key Stage 2 curriculum, carefully designed to mirror this format, helping children practise under authentic conditions.
Our Spring 2026 Sutton SET Mock Test gives Year 5 pupils the opportunity to experience:

English Paper (40–50 minutes) – spelling, comprehension across two texts, and comparison questions with varied formats (single answer, select two, select all that apply, or explanation choice).

Maths Paper (40–50 minutes) – number, operations, fractions, decimals, percentages, measurement, geometry, and statistics.
Children complete both papers under timed, invigilated, hall-based conditions, with a short break in between. After the test, parents receive:
