The 11+ Club

Successful 11+ preparation is not simply about completing more questions. Children need secure subject knowledge, strong reasoning skills, effective strategies and the confidence to apply what they know independently.

Rocketology 11+ Club is designed around this principle.

Open to pupils in Years 4 and 5, the programme allows children to develop progressively from early 11+ foundations through to more advanced application and exam preparation. Teaching and activities are carefully differentiated, ensuring that every child is working towards the right objectives and level of challenge for their stage.

Children follow Rocketology's progressive 11+ pathway:

LAUNCH | Year 4 Building strong foundations in reasoning, vocabulary, problem-solving and mathematical thinking whilst developing confidence with 11+ style challenges.

VOYAGE | Year 5 Developing the knowledge, skills and strategies required across English, mathematics, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning, with increasing exposure to exam-style application.

BOOST | Year 6 Refining knowledge and technique through more advanced questions, targeted practice, time management and strategies for performing accurately and confidently under exam conditions.

Sessions combine explicit teaching, guided practice, collaborative discussion, problem-solving activities and independent challenges. Children benefit from learning alongside others whilst receiving targeted teaching, feedback and support according to their individual needs.

The programme is structured across the academic year, with learning revisited and extended as children progress. This allows pupils to build knowledge securely, make connections between different areas of the 11+ and develop the independence, resilience and confidence required for selective school entrance examinations.

All learning materials and resources are included within the course fee.

Lessons combine explicit teaching, guided practice, collaborative challenges, problem-solving and exam-style application. Tasks are differentiated so that younger pupils can build secure foundations whilst more experienced pupils work with greater complexity, independence and time pressure.

• Half-term break: 31 May – 4 June 2027

Fees

• £495 per term

• £50 deposit to reserve your child's place (deducted from the programme fee)

• Remaining balance invoiced before the programme begins

• All learning materials and resources included

Progression

• Priority enrolment for subsequent terms is offered to existing 11+ Club pupils.

• Progression into BOOST, Rocketology's Year 6 11+ Development Programme
